Believe

We believe that the Gospel message of Jesus Christ is the most important message in all of human history. We believe that God’s Word is true, and we seek to live our lives according to the Bible’s teachings. We believe heartily that God so loved a world full of sinners that He sent His Only-Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and rise from the grave so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Grow

As you seek to grow in your relationship with God, seek out a church where you will receive sound teaching according to the Bible! Here at Martinez Baptist Church, that is precisely what we are striving to do, and you are certainly welcome here.

Love

When asked about the greatest commandment, Jesus answered, “’And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’” (Mark 12:30-31).

God commands us to love one another then gives us the ability to love one another. He makes the impossible possible! Ask the Holy Spirit to make this new and fresh to you today. We live in a world filled with hate, strife, conflict, bickering, war, and division. There are people all around us, that need to see the love of God! God is love and He expects His children to love one another.

Serve

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28). As followers of Christ, we are called to a life of service—serving God, serving the church, and serving others. At Martinez Baptist Church, we believe that serving is a tangible expression of God’s love and grace. Whether it’s through prayer, volunteering, giving, or acts of kindness, there are countless ways to make a difference in the lives of others.

God has given each of us unique gifts and talents to use for His glory. We encourage you to discover your spiritual gifts and step into opportunities to serve within the church and in our community. Together, we can shine the light of Christ and make an eternal impact.
